Early
engraftment of transplanted hematopoietic stem cells
(HSCs) is a key to achieving a successful outcome
following hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
(HSCT). A failed HSCT is definitely life threatening
not only due to the failed engraftment of donor
HSCs, but also because it leads to a high incidence
of Graft versus Host Disease (GvHD).
PROMOSTEM® aims
to promote early engraftment of donor HSCs following
transplantation and improve the success rate of
HSCT while minimizing the adverse immune reactions
from the HSCT recipients.
